Loving what you do

I’m in a season of growth and challenge.

I love what I’m doing. My work lights me up.

Having a family of 3 kids, a husband who is an entrepreneur, doing what I love and giving to my community is a lot on my plate.

I love each part but it comes with tradeoffs.

There are times I can’t be there for my kids’ activities.

There are times I’m tired.

There are times I don’t want to watch another episode of Bluey, though the show is one of the best out there for little kids and parents alike.

There are times I drop the ball like forgetting to pick my kids up from after school 😬

When I’m in a flow with work, it’s very hard for me to stop.

There are times I want to get away and not be needed by anyone.

There are times I’m not the patient mother I want to be in the morning, as my husband and I try to get 3 young kids out the house.

And what I know for sure is that all that I’m feeling is temporary.

This season is temporary.

So I’m accepting what is and what isn’t and using all the agency I have to adjust what I can adjust.

Just because a season is challenging doesn’t mean you can’t experience joy and fulfillment.

It may look a little different and that’s ok.

Do what aligns with your values and priorities in this current season of life.

You got this. 🙌🏽
