The key…

Not everyone has a dream job or needs to have one. Your job doesn’t have to fulfill your every single need. But be intentional about what specific need it does need to fulfill.

Is it a particular skill set?

Is it money?

Is it flexibility?

Is it about learning and new challenges?

Is it a bridge job or stepping stone for a career pivot?

It can be a combination of these and more.

But think about which one is the most important, then the second most important, and so on.

Don’t judge yourself here.

Simply be honest with yourself.

Then ask yourself: does my job align with my priorities and what my needs are?

If the answer to that is no, make a plan to take action so they do align.

Alignment is key. Always.
